Bill Gates does not want to run for president because he wants to live a PRIVATE LIFE, as simple as that. He does not want to become public with this children, he wants to protect his family, he wants a simple life away from the cameras. He has had with all the publicity, don’t you people get it?

I think the most importend is the politic style and not the people(s) that they do .
Maybe a charisma and influential men had more power to do this. But if Mr Gates have the same quality in the politics like in the computersoftwer “windows” i pray to god ( european people know politic and god are the same topic in the usa ) … so i pray to god please spare me the bugs.

If Bill wont run he should get someone like himself that he knows to run.
Then Bill can be his secret Adviser.

I am a Canadian and googled Bill Gates for President.
Mainly because he has shown what he can do and most importantly how he thinks.

Politicians are a joke, at least a good majority of them.
We need more people running for positions that are not of political backgrounds etc.

If Bill ran for president though, omg. My heart races just thinking of the achievements and legacy such a man might leave behind.

p.s. don’t get me wrong, his achievements so far are amazing.

This site should reopen the petition but just make it a guest book or something.

I have to say I’m sorry to hear that you’ve given up as well. I know not a single Swede who likes Mr Bush. And the US is still getting less and less appealing over here. Bill Gates could change that. Europe want’s to have intelligent people to deal with and not crazy religious cowboys…
