Looking at the US from Europe, it would be great to have someone like Bill Gates at the white house, he's smart, resourceful, and would get things done without the rest of the world hating it.

Lets face it, the land of the free, are becoming more and more the land of the restricted and watched

I don't know what Bill Gates politics are, and I don't care. Just to have a person in the White House that has some independent thought would be a refreshing change.
Count me as pro Gates.

Well. I believe that he does get things done. I mean this guy and his crew are part of the computer history. Without visual OS, we would have been working in b/w screens (or green) with propably limited capabilities.
Linux friends maybe have different opinion on this but, heck, this guy contributed a lot.

It really would be refreshing to have a competent manager running the office. Right wing, fundamentalist, divisive tools of 19th century capitalism have taken the U.S. about as far down the road of 3rd world fascism as I'd care to go.

Jesus would be rolling over in his grave looking at how entrenched in politics the fundamentalist have become. It's not only destructive, it's embarrassing.
